Another Turkish folk song. The thing about folk songs is that they often don't have a fixed, 'authorised' version. There usually exist a couple of versions differing only in some words in the lyrics, but the general meaning of the song is always maintained. For example in this song, the second line has ciğerim yanıyor and içerim yanıyor, both meaning 'my insides are burning'; the first one literally says 'my liver is burning', 'liver' being synecdochical to 'insides'. In this live version, the last verse is not sung at all, whereas in other versions it is. I've also heard one, performed by İbrahim Tatlıses himself, where only the first verse is sung.
Also notice the pronunciation in this live performance. Standard Turkish [k] is realised as [x] in yakar and kaybetmiş, and I believe I heard the 'k' in koyarlar as [q], which wouldn't be surprising since the Uyghur/Uzbek cognate is qoymaq.
In the last verse, which isn't performed in the live show, yâre is the Ottoman word for yara, 'wound'.
